PRE-REQUISITE
Enter with one of the following Pre-requisites/Statuses: 1. Trained Assistant Curling Ice Technician 2. World Curling Federation - Introduction to Curling Ice Maintenance (Online) 3. 12 months working in a curling facility under the supervision of a certified Curling Ice Technician 4. Former Curling Canada Level 1 Ice Technician Course 5. Former Facility Operator Assistant Course (Ontario)
Ice Techs will be at a Trained status at completion of the workshop. The workshop is suitable for volunteers and assistants looking to become certified ice technician. This program replaces the old Level 2.
Date: September 24-28, 2025 Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Participants can expect to learn: Painting the ice white, sealing, putting in decals, Scraping, Pebbling, Nipping, Cleaning, Temperature Monitoring, and more!!
